Sorry...

what better way to say that you're Sorry than with a beautiful rose?! man, i was just sooo ecstatic with this piece once i finished it. it was one of those spur of the moment pieces that started out as a small pen sketch on the back of an office memo pad during a slow day at work and after some thick, clean lines and some color were added became an amazing piece! i am definately going to get a nice frame for this one and find a nice place to hang it in my house! it deserves to be out instead of sitting in a stack of portfolios in the dark. about the piece - it is a black pen sketch that i made a photocopy of and then added some crayon type colored pencils for a splash of color. everytime i look at it, it reminds of the glowing rose from beauty and the beast. enjoy!!

i love the look of it. reminds me of the stained glass drawings in Beauty and the Beast. The soft red outside of the rose is nice too.

Very pretty rose! I love the very bold lines, and the texture from the colored pencil.

Funny how those accidental scribbles can turn out to be a piece you're really pleased with, isn't it? I've certainly had that experience!

That's really beautiful - such rich colours and it does look like stained glass!
