Capture for illofriday....
whoa whoa whoa! this must be an all-time new record for chacha!! an illofriday finished before the week of work even starts, shocking!! well here it is and man did it come out exactly how i wanted it to. all i used on this was some markers and a little creativity. when i heard the topic of capture this instantly came into my head. dont know why or from where but it was perfect and i started sketching right then and there. maybe it has something to do with me watching too many 'Inked' shows on A&E - i love that show!! anyways, here it is. delivered on time and with pride. enjoy!

Holy crap...that is a new record. Looks good! Like the rope/cord. The markers really give it some good tecture. Wanna know something funny? Im usung something along the same lines for mine. Strange that we both picked this way to represent capture. Im hoping to work on mine today.

yay! im very excited how it came out and that i got it in way before my deadline. talk about keeping a goal in sight! cant wait to see yours. funny we did pick the same thing -- great minds think alike, sometimes :) lol i liked this one so much i bought a frame and hung it in my room already! glad you like it

This took excellent planning, ChaCha ! The cuffs look correct and the rope entwined around the heart obviously speaks of lots of time spent making sure that the braid pattern is opposite each cross-over.

thanks bunches steve!! it did take a while to do that rope braid, but definately well worth it in the end. this one came out exactly how i saw it in my head, a rarity for me eventhough im always proud of the outcome of my pieces. thanks for the comments and stopping by! im going over to your site right now :)

Well I just love the creativity in this one. Great job. I just finished looking at Cheryl's. I liked hers a lot too. I will be checking in on both of you to see what each week brings. The pressure is on. :)
